BAJUWAREN-SAUNA 90° C

BAJUWAREN
SAUNA 90° C

The sauna is an elementary part of Finnish culture. In the sauna you can relax and cleanse the body. Our Bajuwaren sauna is classically furnished with wood, similar to a Finnish log cabin sauna. The so-called “Aufguss” is a ritual during which infused water is poured on up to 500°C hot stones and the hot air and vapour is then circulated with flicking movements of a towel over those seated, to boost the sweating which cleanses the skin and at the same time stimulates the immune system. The usual sauna temperature is about 90°C.

BIO-SAUNA 55° C

BIO-SAUNA 55° C

The bio sauna is a lighter version of the classic dry sauna. The bio sauna is much gentler on the circulation and is also suitable if you are just starting out with sauna visits and for longer stays of up to half an hour. With an inside temperature of 55-60°C, humidity of about 60% and enriched with essential oils, this sauna caters for a deep and effective relaxation. The coloured lights have an additional stimulating effect on the senses.

AROMA STEAM BATH

AROMA STEAM BATH

Besides the classic sauna session, the steam bath in particular is enjoying growing popularity. Already the ancient Romans appreciated its relaxing and positive effect on the entire organism. Due to the relatively low temperatures of approx. 45°C and up to 100% humidity, it provides optimal conditions for physical regeneration. The moist air is enriched with various aromatic fragrances to intensify the experience. A visit to the steam bath can have a very positive effect on overstimulated nerves, cramped muscles, rheumatic diseases, cold symptoms and much more.

HERBAL PINE SAUNA 75° C

HERBAL PINE
SAUNA 75° C

Due to its slightly lower temperature of 75°C and higher humidity, the herbal pine sauna is a gentle and soothing alternative to the Finnish sauna. The built-in pine wood interior and the herbal kettle provide a relaxing scent in the sauna cabin.

SALT TEPIDARIUM WITH THERMAL LOUNGERS

SALT TEPIDARIUM
WITH THERMAL LOUNGERS

The Roman tepidarium, also known as a thermal radiation bath, is the ideal space to gently start the circulation going without overwhelming the body. The special feature of this room is the radiant heat that emanates from the floors and the ergonomically shaped loungers. This warmth is perceived as soothing and relaxing. In our tepidarium, the air quality is also enriched by a salt wall which has an additional positive effect on the respiratory organs.

ICE FOUNTAIN

ICE FOUNTAIN

After a hot sauna visit, the crushed-ice bath gets your circulation going once again and at the same time provides a wonderful refreshment. Rubbing with ice gently restores the temperature of the skin back to normal and at the same time dead skin particles are removed.

Tea Bar

A cup of tea is revitalising and beneficial after a session in the sauna or thermal bath. Our tea bar contains a selection of various wellness and herbal teas with ingredients such as mint and ginger, which are refreshing and revitalising. You are welcome to enjoy them free of charge for the duration of your stay.

Foot Bath

Foot Bath

For experienced sauna users, the foot bath is as much a part of the event as the actual sauna. The warm water helps to readjust your body temperature after the sauna. And it is a good idea to use it before entering the steam box as well as between the various sittings. The warm water encourages all the blood vessels in the body to expand, which improves perspiration.

Heated Benches

Heated Benches

Our elegantly tiled heated benches can greatly enhance relaxation. They have a detoxifying and relaxing effect on the body and muscles. Perfect for getting the body to the right temperature before a sauna.
